5. The Difference Between Purchase Agreement and Trade Agreement in Dynamics AX
There are two “agreements” in Dynamics AX 2012 that, at first glance, look quite similar: The purchase agreement and the trade agreement. In Dynamics AX, a Trade Agreement can be thought of as an “if this, than that” mechanism for applying discounts. Essentially, you can create a rule for pricing and apply it to a particular product, group of products, client, or group of clients. 4. How to Email Statements to Customers in Microsoft Dynamics GP
There are two ways to email Statements from Microsoft Dynamics GP to your customers. Using the GP Receivables Statement e-mail tool OR using Word Templates. When you upgrade to GP2013 you may be thinking of switching to using Word Templates to bring you in line with the latest and greatest. Here is Problem #1: If you are using Multicurrency Statements they don’t currently work with Word Templates. Or at least you can’t e-mail them. Since the Data Migration Tool is no longer available in NAV2013, you might be wondering what type of tool can be used to import data in Microsoft Dynamics NAV. In NAV2013 one of the changes made to the application was adding the RapidStart Services. RapidStart Services is a tool designed to shorten deployment times by using out-of-the-box configurations, improve the quality of implementations by validating internal relations between the tables and by streamlining importing of opening balances and transactions into journals. 2. How to Create New Companies in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 R2
For users of Dynamics NAV 2013 R2 it is important to note that you are no longer able to create a new company in the Dynamics NAV Development Environment (Classic Client) using File->Company->New. Instead you can now use the Windows Client (RTC) or “Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 R2 Administration Shell”. For instructions on how to use either of these options, click here.
