For users of Dynamics GP Canadian Payroll, here’s some info on the upcoming mid-year tax update for 2015.
REMINDER: if you’re on Dynamics GP 2010, this is the last tax update for Canadian Payroll as mainstream support ends on Oct 13, 2015. If you haven’t already planned your upgrade, you’d better start thinking about that!
From the information I’m seeing out there, this mid-year there are tax changes for New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Yukon and British Columbia. No news on the other provinces or federal changes at this time. That could change, keep your eyes on the official Dynamics GP support blog for firm details closer to the end of June.
ETA for this release: typically it’s released about a week before July 1st (based on most other years).
If you’re on GP 2010: this is the last tax update
If you’re on GP 2013: nothing special to report!
If you’re on GP 2015: this tax update will include GP 2015 R2. While that is not a “major” release, I consider it a significant service pack that will include lots of new features. The official Dynamics GP blog above has a “feature of the day” series on what is new and changed in GP 2015 R2 so take a look if you are curious!
